West University Place homeowners often tackle kitchen updates or foundation work on 1940s-1960s brick houses set on narrow lots. Our trucks come from the Houston yard at 8515 S Texas 6 to drop 10- and 15-yard containers that fit driveways without blocking live oak canopies.
Street parking rules and tight alleys mean we check each address before dispatch. Residents along Kirby and Buffalo Speedway request weekend drops that fit the city’s Sat 9am–2pm window so crews can finish before evening traffic builds on the Southwest Freeway feeder.
Frequent spring downpours turn clay soil soft, so we place plywood under wheels and pull containers the same week most jobs finish.

Dumpster Rental in West University Place — Local Notes
- •Mid-century homes on small lots create tight driveway access that favors 10-yard dumpsters over larger sizes.
- •City code requires a street-use permit for any container left on the right-of-way; our crew brings the paperwork.
- •Live oaks and underground utilities limit roll-off placement, so we scout each site the day before delivery.
- •Renovation projects spike after summer storms, so weekend residential rentals book quickly in the 77005 zip.
